MLN Newswire - The arenafootball2 league office announced that WR/LB Jesse Tupper, OL/DL Lamar Bryant and DS Patrick Horne have been assigned to the Manchester Wolves professional af2 team for the 2007 season. Both Bryant and Tupper played for the Wolves last season while Horne split time with the Quad City Steamwheelers and Bossier-Shreveport Battlewings.

Horne (6-0, 195), a two-year veteran of the af2, will enter his first season with the Wolves after playing for Quad City and Bossier-Shreveport last year and the Rochester Brigade in 2003. In five games for the Steamwheelers last season, Horne collected 25 total tackles, one interception, three pass breakups, and one forced fumble, while tallying 4.0 total tackles and two pass breakups in one game for the Battlewings. The quick-footed Horne played on both the football and Cross Country teams for the Ragin' Cajuns at the University of Louisiana-Lafayette, and currently runs track for Athletics East in Boston, Massachusetts during the off-season. Horne will compete for a defensive specialist position once the Wolves training camp opens in March.

"Pat has world-class speed, and two years of arena experience as a defensive back," added Bennett on Horne. "Match that with his size and you can see why we're excited to have him on our roster."
