Its hard to post with the cheers playing again but I can do it! Your announcer said "Poo-Yi" after a score. What does "Poo-Yi" mean? I read where "poo-yee-yi" means "that stinks" I don't think that is what he was saying. Help?
ps get ready to lose in basketball![]()
I moved this to the rage page because . . . it's a good question.Originally Posted by UNO99
I can tell you this, nothing stunk on that play as far as UL fans are concerned
My colloquial interpretation of 'poo yi' has always been a mixture of "wow, that is something, I have had enough, I can't believe, no more, did you see that, not funny, I'm worn out" as well as other thoughts.
I always used "Poo-Wee" formally for something stinking.Originally Posted by UNO99
I love the post game interviews. Can we hear the Robert Lee interview from tonight?
I recieved an email about the loudness of the Fenroy announcment. I was right under the student section when it was announced.
Anyway I lowered the volume 6db by request.
ps NCAA-BUST I could not go to the game last night (work related) so I did not get any audio from the postgame press conference.

Trust me, this team has more heart than any team Jesse has put out there.
It's like we have a team of Brian Hamiltons out there.
