I need to find the Advertiser article (from a few years ago) where the best managing editor "EVER" ran a notice of record stating that the Advertiser knew its audience. In the official editorial they stated -paraphrase- that they would never degenerate again into at Lafayette usage.

Unfortunately Gannett moves the editor shells around so much, it makes standards as hard to maintain as college traditions.

In this case the two transitory eco-systems collude.
