Thread: Cajuns get crushed and the Saints lose....

Seems like old times. Bad old times! I have full confidence that Hud will get the train back on track against FIU! However, it is obvious the Saints are missing Payton. In NOLA we were feed the line that the Saints are player driven team and they wouldn't miss Payton that much. I wonder if the Saints could borrow Hud on Sundays?

We lost a game we got a paycheck for. The Saints lost a crucial contest to a divisional rival. Apples to Oranges. Cajuns are still 1-0 in conference...Aints are 0-1. Seahawks won today though...and all you Cowboy haters can say thank you.

We did not receive 1 dollar for that butt whipping we took in Stillwater.

Really? I thought that was the whole point to the body bag games. I thought we got a good payday.

It was a 2 for 1 deal for their trip to Lafayette in 2010.

I thought this game had a guarantee aspect to it? Still it's not a very important game in the grand scheme of things. We didn't luck out and get Arkansas or Auburn on a very down year. We are still the favorites to win the belt.

You are incorrect. It was a 2 for one with a guarantee on the back end. The payout wasn't nearly what we'll get for Florida since the deal was made four years ago. But we got a half mil for the game.

As a Cowboys fan, all I can say is congrats. Your team beat my team in every facet of the game. Good luck the rest of the season.

I wasn't expecting that. How things can change in one week.

Then why do you correct people when they say it's a money game? Last I check a half million is still considered a pretty good chunk of change. If we left with a big check, it's a money game.

Neither was I, but after seeing Arizona beat New England (on the road), it made Seattle's loss to Arizona not look too bad. You've got a hell of a defense, and Lynch was a beast as always. I'm not sure you can compete with San Francisco, but if Russell Wilson develops, you may end up in the playoffs. Good luck.
