I didn't. I responded to a poster who said we didn't get a dollar.
Now we may differ in our definition of a guarantee or money game. In my mind that's a game where you get money in lieu of a turn visit. This agreement had a visit to Lafayette therefore I look at it differently. If you don't thats fine.
If we got checks for both trips to Stillwater, I consider that money games. Those checks may have been a little smaller due to them agreeing to come to Lafayette, but still money games.
I have a lot of confidence in Hud and this team. Not so much for the Saints. They've lost to two teams that they should have beaten and their schedule is not going to get any easier after KC. Brees can't do everything and has been put into positions where it seems that he has to try and win the game on his own. He then forces ball and makes mistakes. The defense is just a mess. I'm confident that Loomis did not bring in Spagnuolo to give up 30 points a game.
Geaux Cajuns
Boy did this thread get hijacked or what?
No doubt not having Payton is bad. Now having said that both Graham, and Lance Moore dropped touchdown passes in the same series inside of the ten yard line and we settled for three. Payton does not change that. Breese throws a foolish pick six, nothing new there. Those are eleven points they gave up that IMO Payton does not change one bit. The defense sucks, nothing new there.
Bad defensive picks over the last few years are beginning to take their toll, and you cannot think you will always be playing from the front. Saints will have a very difficult year due to Payton, and a still awful defense.
Cajuns need to become more consistent on offense while the defense matures. We have three games where it will not take an exceptional effort to win, FIU, TooLame, and North Texas. No we cannot expect wins playing so poor on defense even against these teams, but after that it will be a dogfight every one of the teams except FAU is capable of putting a butt whipping on you if you do not come with your A+ game.
Well... here's a flight plan deviation you created... the Stillwater game was not a "body bag" game. Do you mean that OSU considers it a body bag game for themselves? They sustained more injuries than the Cajuns. OSU has no better chance of inflicting injury during a football contest than anyone else we play... pass it around and help educate the ingorant.
Right Governor! Insert the official money game term if it makes you happy.
