    OSU gets it.

During the opening statement of his Monday press conference, the Oklahoma State coach said his staff had begun watching film on the Cowboys' next opponent. He called the school “Lafayette.”

“As soon as I said it, I knew I messed up,” Gundy said. “That's the first thing that came to my mind. I didn't want to say ULL, because it's a tongue twister, so I just fired ‘Lafayette' off.”

I think the biggest thing that stands out for that to be as effective as it was, is the SID explaining it a passive manner. We have had a forceful-shove it down your throat-approach for so long. (which is not received well). He also explained it a way that there is no reason to not appreciate it. No one can read that and say....'they are trying to be someone they are not' or 'they are trying to take the flagship status'.

The tongue twister is a great approach!

We are working on getting an answer to the UL, ULL, Louisiana question right now. Hopefully we will have something positive to share in the next couple of weeks.

The tide could be turning in our favor. . . stay tuned.

If we are so inignificant then why would an lsua&m@br fan go out of his way to find an article in an Oklahoma news paper just to call us "insignficant" and "pathetic"? It's people like that that make me hate that evil, cultureless excuss for a university more and more everyday. Baton Rouge/lsu=The Applebees of America.

Applebees are generally too clean to make that analogy work. (but it did make me laugh ...)
