Dang, I have to try me a Canebrake. I lived in Venezuela as a kid and they had a beer called Polar. I snuck a lot of sips as a kid at parties. Later, when traveling to Trinidad, I tried a beer called Carib. Most beers I've had in the islands, I did not like. I had not had a Polar since being a kid. That Carib instantly hit me with a recall of that Polar flavor. I think both have some sugar cane component in their makeup. It was the only thing that I could match in their tastes. I wonder if Canebrake will trigger that taste memory when I try it. I can't wait to see.

What is Canebrake's distribution? Where can I get it?
I enjoy the brown ale's as well. Ever tried Moose Drool? Pretty good stuff.
Can almost always find Dos Equis Amber in my beer fridge. Usually keep Blue Moon for my daughters.
Have to admit I like this, and the bourbon thread at lot! Will need to look for the canebreak next time I'm in town.
