    Best beer I had in quite some time is Alaska Brewing Company's Pale Ale and also their IPA.

    Great thread!
    One of my buddies (a UL student) packages the beer for Parish. He took me and a few friends on a tour of the brewery (they have them every Friday from 4-6pm) and we got to taste Canebreak and Envie (pronounced awn-vee). I'm not big on dark beers, but the Envie is great!

    Some of my current favorites:
    Canebrake
    Ziegenboch
    White UFO
    Abita Select (had it at Gulf Brew, haven't been able to find it in stores)
    Leinenhugel's Sunset Wheat (really does taste like fruity pebbles)
