I hear you on the downpour. I ran the State Cross Country meet my senior year, at the LSU golf course, in a pouring down rain barefooted. But us folks from Erath grew up running with no shoes. Like running back home. We won't discuss my time.

Boom, I participated in '74 & '75. Not too long after they added the 2 mile run to T&F. I don't think they did CC in Erath in the 60's.

Maybe all that Cajun SEASONing could be the culprit!!!! You tax the mind at times T-Bine and it is another of the great treats of this board!!!! And as Beau said I think at one time called it THREAD DRIFT!!!! lol
