I Think Cajuns Will Come Out On Top Tonight
For The Fact That They Are A Young Team. And
As A Young Team Having An Exprerience
Coach (BUSTLE) Leading Them Ahead They Will
Do Ok.If People Can Drive To New Orleans
To Watch A Losing Team They Can Drive Here
In Lafayette To Watch A Team That Can Win.![]()
The Cajuns losses have BOTH come to very good teams.
Everything must be put in perspective and sometimes it takes a whole season to do this sort of thing. But don't be surprised if you find out that both of UL's early season losses came at the hands of top 25 teams.
Even if LA Tech would for some reason stall in their quest for a top 25 ranking, keep in mind that Louisiana Tech's only loss came at the hands of a team that was #1 for most of last year and is currently ranked #2 in the country. Today they beat a Michigan St. team that received a couple of top 25 votes in the USA Today coach’s poll.
Of course South Carolina who was also knocking on the top 25 door, lost today to #8 Georgia in Athens. Point being, the foes UL has faced so far this year are 4-2 on the young season, with their only losses being to the #2 and #8 teams in the country.
When I say perspective I am just saying don't judge this squad by the W/L record, they have faced some very good teams.
My parents are down for a rare visit from Nebraska so I elected to stay home tonight.
However I had to sneek in and listen to the game for a second. If I understand correctly they just finished a lightning delay, so it is still 1st quarter.
The score is 0-0
If I heard right the Cajuns could easily be up 9-0 but a fumble inside the 5 another stalled drive inside the 5 and a poorly snapped ball cost UL another field goal.
Well the KPEL broadcast has gone down I can't hear a thing.
Hi mom.

I hope the coaches don't make the same mistake that was made against LSU last year. So desperate to score a TD against LSU they sacrificed an easy field goal. This left LSU in an overly energized shut out mode.
I know there is a current TD drought, but I think it is crucial to simply get on the board. I don't think you should ever go for it on fourth down early if there is a big goose egg on the board.
