Cajun tom- a real Cajun fan can tailgate anywhere, but a real clumsy Cajun fan (me) shouldn't tailgate on gravel if he values his unskinned knees.

To the Tech fan, it looks to me like any place that you can find with grass is ok to tailgate on. Personally, im thinking about tailgating next to congress under one of the new oaks they just planted.

LOL, I did see the game and you are correct, That aspect of the offense did not work and needs addressed. However, as a whole the line did a good job. The run blocking and pass protection on roll outs was very good. The option and pocket passing needs improvement. We will get there. This game was/is something to build on. Bottom line it was a loss and should make our team even more hungry for a victory.

Went by there yesterday but was driving and could not take a good look, do you know how many were planted? I always thought shrubs should be planted and line the fence on Bertrand.

Please come by the Oak tree across from Luther's on Bertrand and say hello to the Folks there at some point. Many of the people on this board tailgate there and we usually have a pretty good supply of food and drinks.

That is the point of my posts. I want what's best for the cajuns. I will point out their weeknesses and point out the positives. As far as the roll out passing, the reason for roll outs are to run away from an aggressive def. We did a good job with roll outs. That is the easiest block in football. The easiest. All you have to do is step to the play side, open your hips and get your ___ facing the play. Its called a fan block. Once again, the O-line is the achilles heel of the team.

I attended the game and your fans were fantastic. I have never been treated nicer in an opponents venue. They were very kind to us before the game and afterwards quite a few complimented us on the performance of our team. It was one of the best road trips that I have made. One thing that really surprised me was how knowledgeable your fans were about our Coach and team. Good luck for the rest of the season and I hope the Cocks go undefeated.

I was in D.C. for the game. The ESPN Zone there happened to be carrying the game, so me and my dad were able to catch it there. I was very impressed with the way this team played. The two Gamecock fans there were very impressed with our team. They were very nervous heading into the 4th quarter as Travis seemed to be running better. It was a great game and I hope we beat those Dawgs this Saturday.

How could you control the Off. side of the ball when your offense didn't even score. How can you say the defense controlled the ball when we allowed 14 pts. If Lou Holtz said this, he knows that a SEC team like the Gamecocks are terrible. Lets be realistic, anyone can see the USC will maybe win 5 games. This is the 2nd to worst team in the SEC.

I'm starting to question Lou Holtz's credibility.

Even I know he is speaking about what he expected vs what he saw. He obviously expected to totally dominate every facit of the game, and compared to what he expected the Cajuns dominated.

What do the stats stand for? Is it solo and assisted tackles? Do they keep stats on missed tackles?
