Louisiana is down 7-14. At first I thought this was going to be a replay of last years Texas A&M game as there were 3 turnovers early.

However at the end of the first half the Cajuns blocked kick (trademark) and ran it in for a TD.

The score has not changed all second half
    USC 14
    UL 7

The defense has been absolutely nothing short of sterling.

Great game, we are a much improved team. Not saying we are on our way to the New Orleans Bowl but we played well tonight. 2 of our preseason concerns (running game and pass defense) looked great. Babb played a good game and Smothers played a great game. Give credit to our O-line and the entire defense. The first USC TD came after a fumble (by Chester Johnson on the Cajuns 20 or 25) and the we should have scored later on but fumbled on our own goal line. Three turnovers tonight, 1 int by Babb and 2 fumbles by Johnson. Other than the final score it was the best performance I have seen (watched on PPV) in a long time. The team did not wilt in the 3rd or 4th quarter and we were in this game up until the end. Hope the guys keep their heads up and realize while there is still work to do (offense failed to score any points) we can and will games like this in the near future.

GEAUX CAJUNS!!!!!! Next up, Louisiana Tech. Show the team your support and be there Saturday night.

I am happy for you but "grrrrr" I spent almost 2 hours with a very nice guy from Cox trying to find the problem.

Did you by small chance tape the game? Please, please, please?

Sorry, no VCR. I tried this morning to order the game (around 8:30) but it would not work. I called and the lady promised they would work on it. Called back around 1:30 and they ordered it for me no problem. Very glad it was a good game.

UL found a running game, and I liked our distribution of balls to the WRs. Were gonna wipe the floor with the La Tech Rednecks!!!!

The announcers on the radio said that Fred Stamps was double team the whole night. I'm surprise that the other receivers didn't step up. We may need to play Jordan Jackson who can make big plays.

    Default Tailgating Areas

Ok guys, I was interested in how the whole tailgating situation works in Cajun Field. For the past couple years, me and a few friends would park out in the middle of the field and cook some hotdogs, but it looks like we have a mound of gravel there now, so I gotta find a new spot. Im looking for a FREE spot WITHOUT GRAVEL. Any suggestions?

    Default Last night's game

You guys came into our place last night and spanked our butts. The score says we won, but I sure don't feel like we did. You all controlled the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball and your qb and rb were fabulous. Good luck the rest of the year and you have a team you can really be proud of.

I hope our fans treated you well if you were there in person.
