    SwampFox,

    I don't know if you realize it, but the original "Swamp Fox" (aka Francis Marion) was a Revolutionary War Hero from South Carolina. The movie "The Patriot" was based partly on his life. The movie combined aspects of Marion's life with that of Thomas Sumter (the orignal "Gamecock") and a few other Revolutionary War Heroes from South Carolina. Also, as a tribute to Francis Marion the South Carolina Air National Guard designated its mascot as the Swamp Fox. As a member of SCANG, I am proud to claim membership to an organization that bears this name. I just thought this connection was interesting and thought you may find it interested also.

    I would like to extend every Ragin Cajun (love the mascot btw) the invitation to Columbia, SC for the kick off to what will hopefully be a very successfull football season for both teams.

    PS We still owe you for the Super Regional

    Man, yall need to start being a little more mean, its hard for me to want my team to whoop up on you if I like you to much. Thnx for being so gracious, and we'll try to make yall remember the way you felt in the Super-regional :-P

    Well, not quite Tuffy. That stat. about 61 yards per game was Rushing yardage only. We actually averaged 289 yards per game total offense. Add a decent running game to those stats and the offense would be passable.

    I guess it is time for you to know the truth Tuffguy. Not all BCS fans are as bad as LSU A & M Baton Rouge fans. I hope it did not come as too much of a letdown to you.

    Heh I know that, I mean, Nebraska had some great fans last year too when we played them in baseball. Ive never seen such gracious losers, besides my parents both graduated from a BCS college, and my uncle graduated from Oklahoma, so I know not all are bad, but the USC fans Ive found have been the nicest people, and Its hard, cuzz now if we win, I'll still feel bad cuzz I wouldent want to wish bad upon them.

    Says telecast is only available in the state of South Carolina

    That would be coolbut according to the article;

    "Southeastern Conference rules prevent the game from being made available to fans outside the state of South Carolina, except for official alumni groups which have been approved by the University. There are no other exceptions to this rule."
