LOUISIANA La. -- Take University of Louisiana wide receiver Fred Stamps off the field Saturday and there were few offensive highlights.
That, however, wasn't completely bad news for Louisiana coach Rickey Bustle.
"Our defense is ahead of the offense right now and I'm glad they are," he said following the 107-play scrimmage at Cajun Field. "It's obvious the defense was having a lot more fun than the offense did."
Stamps, a senior and All-Sun Belt Conference selection last season, caught a 25-yard touchdown pass from redshirt freshman quarterback Jerry Babb. He also had the scrimmage's most electrifying play, a diving 33-yard catch.
The other scrimmage touchdown came when senior quarterback Eric Rekieta threw a 20-yarder to 6-foot-6 freshman receiver Jordan Jackson.
Otherwise the day mainly belonged to the defense, Bustle said.

I believe these are correct.

Thanks Tom, I saw #52 playing yesterday and thought it looked like Green's height and weight but I never heard the coaches call his name (like I did Cutler). There was a #95 and #65 that made a few plays with the number 3 defense but don't know who they were. Also saw a #35 running with the number 2 defense.

Another question, is Shawn Williams wearing #50 now? He was wearing #99 but that is Benson. If Williams is not wearing #50 I don't think I have seen him out there.

We went to a national printing vendor that does many bcs and other schools. They screwed up the tickets, and lied about it to boot. Hoping we will get the tickets we ordered in time for the ULT game, if not arrangements will be made.Originally posted by CajunKahouna
Anyone know when the football season tickets will be mailed out?
