I hope we get a lot of students whopping and hollering like they did for the western kentucky basketball game. That was very impressive.

Finally I will be able to go to a game. Are umbrellas still allowed?
I am very interested in walking-on the football team can anyone give me some good advice and what should I expect?? Any help appreciated, Thank You...
I don't know specifics, what I am about to type probably applies to any university. Each has their own criteria. Need would be another factor.
I do know you must be registered with the NCAA Clearinghouse to participate in any sport.
I am not sure but you probably need some personal insurance and be able to provide proof.
There is probably a bit of paper work and physicals that need to take place.
I also know you need to be in better shape than me.
What position did you play in highschool?
I graduated highschool in 2001 and I played WR and CB.. Im 5'11 and 187lbs and the last time I was timed in the 40-yd. dash (Junior yr. in highschool) I timed in at 4.45.. Im trying out for WR and I been training for about a year and a half and I feel like im more than ready..
Given that hardly any of us on this forum have ever participated in intercollegiate athletics, I certainly wouldn't expect any good advice over here.Originally posted by Gangsta

Does anyone know how many freshman are working out in summer drills. OL Zachary Leger is enrolled in summer school and he is working out during the summer.
A poncho works pretty well. I stayed pretty dry throughout the North Texas debacle this year (and I stayed the WHOLE time!)
