Kate, you are a dyed in the wool, true Red & White Ragin Cajun. I don't know if the Cowboys are that strong this year. I know they are ranked #1, but they are managing to win by the skin of their teeth. I guess we will find out when the playoffs begin. I do wish them luck, in particular for our child who went into exile for a while .
I went to the game yesterday and every time they played I felt pretty good. Its not as good as ours but, its still pretty good.
You must know the song by heart, 51 points. Did the UL band get to go and play any?
2003 Separation Year
2004 Breakout Year
Next year the band will get to travel because of the money allotted to them with the passage of a referendum this fall semester. I don't think they were able to attend any out of town games this year. Correct me if I'm wrong, please.
Nope, no out of town games for the Band this year.
However, look for us to go on the road with the team next season as the Cajuns take the Sun Belt by storm in 2004!
*Thanks, referendum!*
Good to meet all you Cajun folks on Saturday. You'al are great fans and it was fun to tailgate/host you in the B'oro.
It will be interesting to note how many Cajun opponents this year attend bowl games.
The band was not there to play during the game but they were playing during our tailgating party and our post game party.
It was awsome. The MT fans treated us like Kings. It was the most fun we have had all season. The tailgating party was great as usual & the game was intense. AND WE WON !!!
I am attaching a few pics from the game Saturday for all to see.
