"I saw the thread with you and your parents you make a fine family. I know you can help the team, but if you are not 100% I recommend medical redshirting. Blocking for a sophomore quarterback and a senior running back will be so much more fun next year. Bottom line get well Greg, but at the right pace."

I completely agree. I was injured in HS and had to sit out a few games. It was not fun. Tell him to hang in there. Best of luck to Greg for a speedy recovery!

Yes we do have a tough schedule for a rebuilding year. I've seen next year's schedule somewhere & I remember not seeing as many major schools on the schedule. Just don't remember the schools. If anybody has next year's sch. please post it. Thanks.

I don't know if they know what hit em but Minnesota has gotten good in the past few years.

Rekeita shows that sometimes you need to take chances.

But thats OK Babb needs to be able to watch how a Senior takes chances and succeeds.

It's OK if he fails because sometimes if you are overly careful you are asking for failure.

The most frustrating thing to me is the almost complete lack of any semblance of a defense. We've hardly slowed them down! Of course the offense has not done anything either, aside from the one good drive engineered by Rekeita. I think he and Babb need to split time the rest of the year.

Man! 41-7 at halftime! This sounds too much like last years game at lsu. Ugh!!!! I sure hope Bustle was right, that these guys are the best team we will face this year. I don't want to see what would happen if anybody left on our schedule is better than Minnesota. I would like to see what our strength of schedule looks like after the season is over. In the preseason, it wasn't ranked very high, thanks mainly to the conference games. I think for our first 6 games the opposition has/will have been pretty tough.

Rekieta launches another drive with clutch passing.

Cajuns score, granted it is against reserve players.

Call me crazy but I think Babb is learning more watching than he learned in the first half.

Even though NT lost by a convincing score tonight (31-7), I checked the box score and noticed Arkansas didn't have a scoring drive longer than 47 yards. Three of the scoring "drives" were less than 30 yards. The Mean Green defense did give up over 400 yards, but just barely. While I don't think NT is as strong as the past couple of years, they will be plenty strong for us to try to get a win against.

I hope the coaches can find something positive about this game against Minnesota to prepare for NT. It sure didn't look too good on the play-by-play, especially in the first half.

At least it was a 7-7 ballgame the second half.
