The Book: 2003 Football

"Alright guys.............what are your strengths and weknesses?" I don't post often, but since I see no reply let me tell you, I don't know of any strengths. UL lost 36 players from last year. The only experienced players on offense is at pitch and catch and the experienced player at QB is coming off Tommy John elbow and is second string. The receiver can catch but we don't know if the quarterback will get him the ball.

On defnse we have experience at linebacker but they didn't play last year. You have to go back two years to find the experience that they have and that was with a different coach. So that is our strengths, I don't know if we have any weaknesses.

1ST AND GOAL.............I hope you are right about it not being a major concern. I know we have some depth but we do have a walk-on LB starting his first game and two of our best are not playing. I would say that is a little cause for concern. These guys are gonna try and run it down our throats and we better be ready to stop it. With a frosh QB, I expect to see a lot of pounding away from the back field. JMHO

I have always found it interesting that a fan of one program, which "could care less" about another program, actually finds the time to compile hours of research into 1000 words or more about the program he could care less about.

South Carolina has an all-time winning percentage under .500, which ranks 89th all-time in D-1A football...only 28 programs have been worse...and blah blah blah blah blah
