remember the square pixel graphics? If they came out with the same game and more normal looking graphics I would buy one for a quick fix.

The original Nintendo set is still at my parents house. Every now and then when I visit, I pull it out, hook it up and try to get in a few games of Techmo Super Bowl. It takes me standing on one leg, saying three Hail Mary's and rubbing a certain spot on the machine to get it to work, but it works.
Forget tecmo bowl. Fenroy ran for over 12,000 yards this season on my NCAA football '07 helping UL to a 13-0 season including wins at LSU AND TAMU. Not to mention they beat the tar out of NC State in the Emerald Bowl and earned a #19 ovearall BCS ranking.Originally Posted by AboveAverage
P.S. I'm trying not to alter our schedule out of the realm of possibility to see how long it will take to get an invite to a higher conference or a BCS bowl. The media poll loves UL, coaches poll..........mmm......not so much.
Sounds like its time to up the dificulty level there chief.Originally Posted by Kal

I could even understand 2,000-3,000 yards in a season on a video game, but not that many!
Usually when i get one of the new games, I'll play the first couple seasons in the dynasty mode, to see how they play out with current players. Then i'll create a player like a WR who is 7'6" and about 300 lbs, but runs a 4.2. somtimes the size can inhibit the 40 speed so i reduce his weight. then just lob all the balls his way over the middle and nobody can stop him. Gain several thousand yards for him and the QB. Once, I created an RB that was about 5'3 and 25 lbs, than ran a 4.5 or something. Nobody could tackle him. he never ahd break away speed but he would constantly average like 8 yards a carry.Originally Posted by Kal
