Hold the phone. You mean guys are supposed to come after rookie QBs with guns a blazing? After watching the Saints fluff Griffin's pillow & set the superdome temperature controls to just his liking, I thought the name of the game was make the rookie QB as comfortable as possible.

The way to beat the saints is to make
Bree's get off his spot in the pocket and make him uncomfortable. If you do that everything will happen for your team

He wanted to torpedo the Saint's season & until further notice it appears as though he accomplished the task at hand. The three judge panel which gave the players something called due process ruled the commissioner had no evidence to show the players recieved bounty money for attempting to injure fellow colleagues which was the whole basis for the commissioner's ruling. The coaches & the GM don't have that process unfortunately. So they had to bend over & take it or be black balled from the league for life. I understand that the circumstances the Saints are in is no fault of their organzation & that their organization was pretty much gutted this season by a on over the top tyrannical dicatator who was out to fulfill an agenda & had the power to accomplish that goal. I don't run & hide in those situations. I will stand with the organization, but I am put off by the NFL & it's motives enough to say I won't support their logo & buy ANYTHING with an NFL logo on it as longas this guy is the NFL commissioner.

I will take my money & support my local institue of higher learning who has gotten their act together & proven they deserve that support instead. You may not agree with my position & that's your right, but it's my right & my money & my time & energy & that's my choice to play it that way.
There you go again. Spinning the facts to make your actions seem warranted. Let's be honest...this is not Goodell's fault. You know who is at fault here...they are sitting at home watching like we are. If the Saints have a bad season...they only have themselves to blame. The three judge panel only lifted the suspension because Goodell does not have the power to suspend players for salary cap violations. A procedural snafu basically. They might get suspended...again. This time for conduct detrimental to the team. I would hope if Goodell and the NFL decide to do this again, they have...as Sean Payton is keen on saying...their ducks in a row. While Goodell may be making an example of the Saints...it's all because they put themselves in that position in the first place. If they would have not tried to cover it up...none of this would have happened. You may not be running and hiding but your on full on cry baby alert and it won't be long before you tuck tail and run. If you have a problem with the NFL and how the entire process has played out...you must also be angry with the players and the NFLPA for signing the Collective Bargaining Agreement on the dotted line. If they had any reservations about how much clout the commissioner now has...they should have been addressed before they signed the CBA. And before you go off and say that these are players and they got one over on them...the head of the NFLPA is a lawyer. So...don't put all the blame on the commissioner...because that is being very unfair. There is enough blame here to be spread around to who actually deserves it. Contrary to popular belief...the Commissioner isn't trying to destroy the Saints, he is just taking out all his frustrations on them because they were too stupid to not heed the warnings they got.

I 100% agree with your final statement. You have every right to feel that way. Just as I have every right to make fun of you for being such a grade A dip____. Ain't freedom great?

Now who's spinning? You can't stand it because the players were vendicated by the democratic process established in this country to protect those who are unjustly accused of commiting crimes by those in power without having a fair hearing. The NFL absolutely refused to show it's "evidence". Why? because they lied about having how much if any so called evidence they supposedly attained. I knew when the players suspensions came down, it would show exactly how much real evidence of an ongoing bounty program there actually was. The Commissioner accused anywhere from 22-27 unnamed players, yet only suspended 4 players & punished them as hard as they could & non of those suspensions were based on evidence, but the player's status with the defense. The NFL won't pursue this matter any longer though, because it achieved the main agenda Goodell was hoping for. He destroyed the Saints chance of participating in this Superbowl. Go ahead & keep spinning though brother. You may actually convince yourself you're right.

Peyton Manning will always be the funnest QB to watch. He truly has mastered the no huddle offense. I thought he struggled a little last night until the Broncos went into the no huddle.

He was awesome last night. He had the best safety in the league running circles.

I made the mistake of pinning all of my fantasy dreams on Cam Newton, luckily I woke up during the dream and drafted Peyton Manning as a hedge.

Exactly what this story says. The NFL was slapped down because they made an unfair ruling based on not only lack of evidence but no evidence at all. Once again the coaches & general manager are not covered under the collective bargaining agreement & have no union or means of arbitration to obtain due process for them. This means they are subject to being black balled for life by the owners if they dare stand up to the NFL comissioner. Therefore they have no choice but to bend over & take whatever this comissioner decides to shove where the sun doesn't shine. That doesn't make them guilty. It makes them puppets of a fascist system which is worse than socialism IMO. At least socialism can be revolted agianst & defeated. Fascism makes slaves of us all.

"A three-judge appeals panel ruled Friday that NFL commissioner Roger Goodell needs to clarify whether he punished the players for conduct, which is within his rights as commissioner, or because of payments for performance, which is a salary-cap issue over which he does not have jurisdiction."

So let's recap shall we. The three judge appeals panel ruled that Goodell needs to clarify whether he punished the player for conduct or for salary cap issues. THEY DID NOT MENTION A SINGLE WORD ABOUT WHETHER THE PLAYERS WERE GUILTY OR NOT. Again....THEY DID NOT MENTION A SINGLE WORD ABOUT WHETHER THE PLAYERS WERE GUILTY OR NOT. Do I have to say it again...alright since you insist...THEY DID NOT ____ING MENTION A SINGLE WORD ABOUT WHETHER THE PLAYERS WERE GUILTY OR NOT. So Goodell cannot suspend a player for salary cap violations since that is not included in the CBA as power granted to the commissioner. But...and this is the part where you may want to pay attention...they can still be suspended for conduct detrimental to the team. That is all this overturning of the suspensions is for. It's not a win against fascism, or socialism, or feudalism...or whatever kind of ism you have no clue what it is but you heard it on the radio so you use it try and sound intelligent (ERGO).

The coaches and GM are at home because they were grade a morons and thought they were above getting smacked down. Funny the one thing the Saints were beloved for...their cocky attitude...would end up being there undoing. That's poetic justice in it's purest form. And Clarice...stupidity makes slaves of the stupid. Those are words to live by.

How much attention do you need, Kyle?
