I don't believe I got nasty or even had a tinge of anything negative in my post. I simply saw the AP come out and thought it was relevant info. If anything, I was surprised by how it turned out.

Also, I didn't know that CajunWave was on here being a jerk, which I'm sure helped inspire Hammer. Doesn't mean I'm not still quite annoyed with Hammer, but I do now (reading Cajun Wave's posts) get why he had a shorter fuse.

Prof, sorry if you got caught in the crossfire, but all you have to do is read yogwf to see how some of us would be a bit gun shy about welcoming a Wavers opinion. Some of us, myself included tend to live in LALA land at times, but that whole Wave fanbase is as arrogant and loony as they come...its unwarrented. Peace.

I promised myself I wouldn't come back, but this I couldn't resist. Name me one specific thing I've said negative about ULL on this or my own board? Here, I've been incredibly polite. There, in my season prediction thread, I did predict our game with you as a a win, and I did say (just yesterday) that we should expect to be able to have a very good chance against you. Surely it isn't a crime to be optimistic and hopeful about one's own team's chances on a board dedicated to your own team? It isn't like I came here and said that (or anything like it). Meanwhile, I have defended your university, your fans, and your team when attacked by others. I also expressed happiness for you winning your bowl game and admiration for how your Athletics Department seems to be starting to get their act together (something we should have been able to do a long time ago and still struggle with). Somehow, I don't feel like the s--- stirrer in this conversation.

I do apologize for the tone that CajunWave has taken on your board (although it does seem like he is, at least, half a ULL fan, therefore he is half your problem and only half ours).

I will refrain from getting in further back and forth on your board because it doesn't serve a purpose and doesn't seem right to make your fans read an argument with a Tulane fan.

I have (until now) had only positive interaction with ULL fans, and appreciate the help I got when I came here to get seating advice this summer in regards to my young son (my original reason for getting an ID). Beyond that, I have tried to strive to 1) not speak too much (since I am a visitor) and 2) be respectful of your team and fans while being here as a visitor (since I am a visitor).

In short, grow up.

Cut the victim act. There s a difference between optimism and delusion. The faux-Ivy League vernacular used may not at first glance seem like it fits with the noel sports message board smack but the derisive sentiments are there. To sum up your view of UZl it will be a "comfortable" win for Toolame because after all we are one of your OOC "cupcakes". And let's not forget that the ranking that College Football News gave Toolame couldn't be anywhere near accurate nice UL was ranked higher. And of course your idea of defending us is to state you have no love for UL (didn't use UL of course), Lafayette is overrated as a "cool Cajun town", not fell bad when Toolame crushes us and ill likely gloat in from of our fans.

I'm sure your interaction with UL fans has been positive considering you show them a different face here than you do with your green buddies.
