One thing I did notice that appeared different from last year, is the game clarity. I watch these games off my XBOX and a widescreen tv and it sure did seem pretty clear compared to last years broadcasts.

I agree, last year watching the StAte game on espn3, i could barely tell what was going. For most of the game tonight the quality was clear and crisp

HAS anybody ever heard the University of Louisiana Lafayette so much in your entire life---The name police had to get to him---Obviously wouldn't say UL or just Louisiana and although he did say just Lafayette a few times---It was always Louisiana Lafayette and not ULL---This whole name thing is just crazy---I have to go visit the Abbeville Meridonal now to get them straight!!!

In Yardley's blog about the game he even acknowledged that "(they prefer just 'UL')" so I expected to hear it at least once.

Boomer, those two were morons. They got a lot more than the name wrong.

I couldn't get the live video stream to work where I was located; so I blared the 1420 call, sat back, closed my eyes, and used my imagination. The game looked amazing, in my head. I'm guessing I didn't miss out on much.

    I LOVE doing that . . . when I have to.

It's not the video, it's either your computer or your cable. We watched it with an hdmi cable and it looked like a regular game on tv.

Set up three different browsers with watchespn.com as the home page (amazing how often a particular browser can be the weak link). We have cable again, but only because my wife caved. I guess she wasn't satisfied with Netflix and Hulu. Anyway, I typically watch the Cajuns live and then replay it at least twice, and I'll watch the Cajuns next opponent if they are on there.
I bought a used office pc on ebay for $100. Spent another $60 to put a 500gb hard drive in. $40 for an antennae for the roof. I pay 45 a month for internet, 7.99 for Netflix, and I used Windows Media Center for live tv and pvr and Plex Media Center to play movies, tv shows, music, etc.
