What impressed UL coach Mark Hudspeth most about the Ragin' Cajuns' kicking game Satuday, perhaps even more than Sun Belt Conference Special Teams Player of the Week Brett Baer's 4-for-4 on field goals and 4-for-4 on PATs, was the job done by his kickoff unit.

I think the kicking game impressed everyone. There's nothing worse than a big return after a score to kill momentum, touchbacks are extremely important. Hopefully we get to see a bunch of them Saturday!!

I actually like the kickoffs going right to the goal line. It seemed the kickoff unit was tackling the receivers of those kicks at around the 15. If you kick it too hard and force a touch back the other team gets the ball at the 25.
