After all of the turmoil about the football team and the mens basketball team even though I think they will suprise some people this year. This lady's team is going to be special. And I dont think enough is said about how special of a job the Hall's have done. They have turned this program around and good lord willing will be hear for years to come.

UL's Lady Cajuns basketball team has won 40 games over the last two seasons thanks to defense and rebounding, and if Sunday is any indication that will be the squad's formula for success again this season. The Lady Cajuns shut down Texas State's offensive attack and took a nearly 30-rebound advantage over the Bobcats, easily rolling to a 59-39 victory in the opening game of the Texas Basketball Travelers Classic. The Cajuns (1-0) now face an even bigger challenge today, meeting tournament host Texas in a 7:30 p.m. contest in the Erwin Center. The game will be televised on Fox Sports Southwest (Lafayette cable channel 38). Texas downed Maryland-Eastern Shore 78-55 in Sunday's other first-round game. For the past 30 minutes TV Guide channel has said Louisiana and Texas are playing right now on 38.
However it's preemted by a mens Loyola MArymount vs Mississippi State game.

What is up with that?

I think this is Fox Sports South and not Fox Sports Southwest. I have the same thing in Baton Rouge area.

What is gonna ____ me off is two weeks from tonight when the Cajun men are on FOX Sports South playing Tenn in the Cajundome, they will prob not switch it so we can see it, will be stuck watch FOX Sports Southwest that night. Totally backwards both nights!

Maybe there is a reason...who knows what it is though.

I feel your pain. My TiVo is set to record anything that has Cajuns, Louisiana, or Lafayette in the title. I'd totally forgotten about the game. Got super-excited when it prompted me to change channels, then...huh? Loyola Marymount vs. MSU? Very disappointed.

I doubt they will be any delay...they are just showing the wrong network. They do this stuff all the time and you have no clue! They switch b/t FSN South and FSN Southwest to show different games all the time. But sometimes we get screwed.

I'm sure they are showing this game b/c of the SEC team that is playing in it!!!
