Pete's is also a good place to watch a game. The only downside, (and this may not be a downside to some) is that there is usually a bunch of families w/ kids, eating there. There is certainly nothing wrong with that, but sometimes I get loud and belligerent, depending on how the game is going. At Legend's everyone is loud and belligerent.

My knock on Petes is when we beat Denver to win the Belt, at the same time was the Tulane v. State baseball game. So, the big screen was taken by the State folks. While they recognize the home team, they cater a bit much to state.

Pete's has changed owners recently like in the last year or so. The new owner is a former UL baseball player. They also have the the Ricky Bustle show there. I think you will find it a more pro-UL atmosphere now. I agree with whoever said the food stinks at BWW. It is like eating cardboard yuck!!

Legends is the best by far, and their Margaritas are to die for!

Thanks!!! I hope my excessive business pays off here in the not so distant future.

On the advertisement which ran on Cox, what did they call UL?

I like how some of the head refs have used Louisiana when announcing the yellow flag disposition!

My favorite place to watch is my living room sofa. More comfortable than a bar stool, the burgers taste good and are a heck of a lot cheaper, a six pack of Shiner costs $5 and my margaritas are better than any bar's.

Please post address and directions from San Antonio!

BTW, I think the baseball team is in SA for a 3-game set this spring. If any of you are thinking about coming to town and might like to get together for a golf game, let me know. I can usually get a good deal at one of the best courses in town. If anyone is interested as the time approaches, just PM me.

"SATX/I-10 whatever you call yourself now". You're welcome too!

I'll probably pass on the Pasture Pool, but the games would definitely be of interest. I think I'm 3 hrs from SATX
