The Acadiana Regional Alliance (ARA) announced its quarterly general meeting will feature an informative discussion on the impact of state budget cuts on the tourism industry in Louisiana led by Lt. Governor Jay Dardenne.
ARA Chair Marion Fox, of Jeff Davis Economic Development, commented, "Our tourism industry is critically important to Acadiana. As a region, we must be informed about budget impacts and utilize our collective assets to continue to attract visitors to sites and events in spite of funding variations."
The meeting will be held Tuesday, August 21, 2012 at 7:00 am at the Petroleum Club of Lafayette (111 Heymann Blvd.) and includes breakfast. The public is invited to attend. The cost is $25.
