Site looks great guys. I'm jealous.
I know the site took alot of time and hard work to make and I appreciate that. However, just some observations if I may: Does the "red" on the site look "faded" to you?.. I really like the more vibrant red like the "pagin" site and the football helmet color.. Also, the "main screen" on the site doesn't seem to fit my screen "a little too big". I'm not talking about the advertisement section on the right. If I try to reduce my screen size to fit it, it works fine, except the cox advertisement at the top covers up the menu line..my resolution is set at the lowest setting and I don't want to change it. anyway, oh, and when watching the USL/Texas A&M game the date below the screen shows '06... I know I'm probably being "picky" , I do like the site and I'm sure they have some "tweaking" to do, however, the "little" things just kind of bug me..jmho
New UL Web site gets heavy traffic
UL's re-tooled www.RaginCajuns.com athletic Web site drew over 51,000 hits in its first 24 hours of activity Monday and Tuesday.
The remodeled site drew traffic from over 3,500 unique visitors, according to UL event management coordinator webmaster John Dugas.
"We think that's pretty good since we didn't do any advertising and most of our promotion has been from inside," Dugas said. "The challenge now is to keep things going and keep improving it."

Don't tell anyone but i hit the site from two different computers, so it was really 3499 unique visitors.Originally Posted by UL Ragin Cajun

The site looks great. Nice improvement, good content. My son and Dad both watched the UL/A&M game this morning. They really enjoyed it. It's a site we can all be proud of.Originally Posted by leeman

Ok so,
40.7% of the 486 people who voted on the new RaginCajuns.com said their favorite feature is Live Stats.
Yet the thing is, 80% of the time we are relying on streaming from other sites. (might be extreme, I'm just making a point)
This doesn't make sense to me. If we are going to have Live Stats, then WE need to have live stats. I don't find anything exciting about when game time comes around, I'm running around the net trying to find the live stats for the games. Does anyone know why this is less than consistant?
There was a firewall on ULM's internet that prevented our live stats from getting through. They were transmitting, but it wasn't reaching the website because of it.Originally Posted by ULforlife
That happens sometimes on the road. Happened at Az. St., too.
