    I have heard that Devante Bourque is transferring to Pearl River Community College in Mississippi, he went through most of fall practice with Tennessee and seemed to be doing really well. I guess he was homesick, I know a place he could play that is close to Crowley.

    He had a chance to come here, didn't work out. JC might be the best place for him because he needs to mature.

    Very true T, he needs to grow up and fast, I went to high school with his dad. I told them he should have come to UL but he wanted to go to a SEC school oh well.

    Gueydan-->Crowley-->Texas A&M (commit)-->LSU (commit)-->Tennessee-->Pearl River CC

    Just pick a place and stick with it for a little while

    I would not touch the kid. Wasn't impressed at all with him in HS, had an attitude problem, didn't always put out his best effort, and has jumped around way too much.

    He had to enroll at a Junior College because of NCAA rules which require completion of one year of school before transferring. Tennessee has to grant him a release immediately for him to transfer to a Division I school next fall. With no release, he will have to graduate from JC to play Div I football again. Otherwise, he can enroll at a Div IAA school next fall. Assuming he would be interested in UL, I am not sure UL should sign him. There have been derogatory rumors about his character and the company he keeps for some time. I would prefer him to graduate from JC and UL reevaluate him at that time.

    I know Devante was all-everything in High School, but his inability to stay anywhere is obviously a red flag. That said, there's another running back at Gueydan right now that I'd love to see wearing red and white next fall.

    WHO CARES, HE IS A SO CALLED HIGH SCHOOL LEGEND THAT NEVER WAS...... I FULLY AGREE THAT HE SEEMS TO THINK THAT THE WORLD OF FOOTBALL CANT SURVIVE WITHOUT HIM.. HIS "HANDLERS" SURE ARE LEADING HIM DOWN THE PATH OF BECOMING OBSCURE AND IRRELEVANT AT LEAST FARVE MADE IT TO HALL OF FAME STATUS BEFORE HE BECAME A IDIOT WHO THOUGHT HE WAS BIGGER THAN THE GAME

    Maybe the thread should have been titled "Looks like Bourque is moving on, and on, and on, and on, and on, and on, and..............."
