Amidst a recent smattering of we-didn’t-think-we’d-be-this-bad and we-can-compete-with-this-group comments from new owner Jim Crane and new general manager Jeff Luhnow, it seems obvious the Astros’ upper management is recognizing two things: This rebuilding thing can turn on a dime…and turn on a daily basis. The road to respectability is a bumpy road.
