Two senior quarterbacks - both four-year lettermen - will be at the helm of the league's two highest-scoring teams.

But make no mistake, today's 4 p.m. match up between UL and Middle Tennessee is all about defense.

Whichever defensive unit comes through at Cajun Field today, will put their team on the inside track to a post-season bowl berth.

UL (4-2, 1-0) and Middle Tennessee (4-3, 3-0) are among four unbeaten teams in the Sun Belt Conference entering today's schedule, but the Cajuns' homecoming contest is the only one matching two unbeaten league teams.

Arkansas State (3-0) is at Florida Atlantic and Troy (1-0) hosts North Texas today in the league's race to seven victories. Whichever hits that figure, or comes the closest, locks down the league's spot in the New Orleans Bowl.
