A grocery story, more retail space for artists and a beefed up taxi service are each among the handfuls of ideas Lafayette residents shared Tuesday during an open-house forum to collect input for the beginning stages of creating the downtown portion of the comprehensive plan, which will guide the area's growth during the next two decades.
