Yea - he definitely missed the point. But should that surprise, considering some the insane drivel he posts here.
BWK said it nicely... If there is a public servant monitoring this stuff, and drawing a salary, then they should be terminated with cause immediately.
And likewise, civilians that constantly monitor it, should remove the tin foil helmet from their heads, get a life, or check into the nearest mental institution an get help.
Go Cajuns! Whip some FAU azz!
Although I agree with the original post. And that marketing and name issues are a problem. Nobody will call us UL or Louisiana and we get Lafayette-ed in every mention.....not to be confused by the Lafayette Leopards. Damned if we do, damned if we don't. Someone will always have 2 cents on our name and someone won't be happy about it.
Believe me, I don't want to sing the DA's praises here, but to be fair--the newspaper doesn't write things like obituaries or wedding announcements. They are written by the families and submitted. At least in the case of obituaries, the family has to pay for the space.
I am new to this name issue. Maybe someone can help me. How many of the schools listed above are the flagship universities of their respective systems? How many are the original campus, or at least the oldest campus in their system? How many house the office of the system president? How many are the largest university in their system? How many have a law restricting the use of "state" in their name?
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
Where do you get off? Really? Every tone of every post you submit wreaks of a "I'm better than you" bravado and a "I'm here to put you in your place" demeanor. Yes this is a forum and all opinions are expressed whether it be positive and negative. But you, you come here and troll and rarely contribute any sort of valuable insight or thought while you sit behind a computer screen scratching your nuts and chuckling as you click submit. So I ask you....what do you get out of this?
