The UL softball program has added junior transfer Kristin Martinez, a left-handed pitcher from Kansas, to their 2012-13 recruiting class head coach Michael Lotief announced on Thursday.

Article says she'll be eligible next season. And with Wallace coming back as a soph., and Hamilton as a RS soph., there's no advantage to redshirting as she will be a junior

If I add correctly, there will be 29 on the softball team in 2012. It would be 30, but Shelbie is leaving. Thirty girls is a MOST difficult task to keep harmonious. Is anyone else leaving?

I believe what T is saying is there is another Big 12 player joining the Cajuns... I could be wrong... Then again, he's probably talking about Redfearn from Baylor...
