Wait a minute. They have us ranked above Oklahoma, Alabama, etc.? As much as I love this high of a ranking, I don't buy it. Either we're too high or those teams are too low. I'm afraid at this point I fall into the "we're ranked too high" category. One day in the not-too-distant future I believe we might make it this high (at least!) legitimately. But not yet. However, it does show tremendous progress and new-found respect for our FB program. And that's a good thing!

The inaccuracy in college football rankings as you get past the top 30 teams is bad and the higher you go it just gets worse. They may have the 2nd, 3rd and 4th quartiles somewhat close after mid season... maybe. If BCS teams think they are jacked for starting out low and trying to climb, they have no idea what it's like to be past 50th... lucky for them.
