ROUX: OL Kyle Plouhar commits to UL

I have been advised by many not to read the boards but because I don't live near the school I want to get to know everyone so that when I do come next year I won't feel like a total stranger. I also thought it would help you to know KP a little so that when he is out there playing you will know some of his history. I have also had a couple of emails from next years recruits asking for KP's email and all so they are getting to know each other, that's important too.

Despite a ton of crap to plow through (mostly from "unCajun" participants) and those who suffer obsessions with negativity, there is much good information and news about Cajun athletics on our two forums. Remember this - most all of the hardcore regulars here have been supporting Cajun football by their attendance and money even in the worst times ever known to us (1997-2001). We real Cajun fans sincerely appreciate every kid who puts on a Cajun uniform - win, lose or draw.

A friend of mine tells me that we got a committment fomr a 6'6 OT from Mandeville but he didn't remember the name so ya'll know me I had to find out more. Well the only guy that matches that description is 6'6 290lbs Kyle Plouhar. He is rated by rivals as the 4th best O-Lineman in the state. Does anyone have any info as to if this committment is real...he said he seen it in the Advocate but I searched and couldn't find anything.

Thanks for the info, Mandy! Good to see you are relieved that this process is over. It has been fun to hear from you. Don't be a stranger now that recruiting is over.
