Mrs P. has definitely let her prescence be known on the boards. I LIKE THAT!

She can keep some of these negative folks in check.

I am not always nice.....so better be careful!!!!. LOL. KP needs to earn his Saturday play to ever even think about Sundays. I want him to succeed where it really counts as well and that is in the classroom. Besides aren't message boards suppose to be fun? I want the players to read them and feel that people care about them. I know first hand how hard they work and they need to feel appreciated. Win or lose they worked hard to get where they are. You don't just wake up one morning and decide to play D1 football or any other sport at the collegiate level.

Sometimes folks tend to forget the players and their families read these boards.

    Thanks for reminding them.

Well we love all the supporters, players, and families. Unfortunately it will take someone with a lot thicker skin than me to put up with some of the stuff so called fans put on boards. My personal recommendations is that parents and players should really think hard about reading these boards. Most of the posters want all our players to succeed in all aspects of their lives, and as always there are a few fools who ruin everything including message boards.

I hope you won't be nice when someone needs to be reeled in. There should always be consideration given to whom may be "listening", but everyone reads at their own risk. I just like the fact that parents, relatives and friends of athletes get on here and cast a different light on the whole subject. And I whole heartedly agree with your priorities... classroom first. I can't speak for everyone, but even these seemingly mean-spirited people (those that are fans) are usually just venting their frustrations, and would likely not want to hurt anyone's feelings.

I know that...in fact I know that if KP does something someone doesn't like it will hit the message boards. You have to expect that and not have thin skin.

I have been advised by many not to read the boards but because I don't live near the school I want to get to know everyone so that when I do come next year I won't feel like a total stranger. I also thought it would help you to know KP a little so that when he is out there playing you will know some of his history. I have also had a couple of emails from next years recruits asking for KP's email and all so they are getting to know each other, that's important too.

I figure between the 2 of you and Gbbaseball7, father of incoming QB Brad McGuire we ought to have some pretty spirited conversation next season!!!!

MissMandy remember, when you bring it, bring it with a vengeance cause they fo' sho' have some knuckleheads lurking on these boards!!! LOL!!! Lots of wannabe D1 coaches!!!

UNFORTUNATELY a lot of parents get into the online coaching..I never interfere...never have..never will and I told Coach Bustle that the other day when we spoke. His decisions are what I will respect for my son just as I respected his high school coach.
    Happy New Year!
