UL has made a “collective decision” that 6-foot-11 basketball recruit Julius Francis will not be admitted to the school or join the Ragin’ Cajuns basketball team, athletic director Scott Farmer told The Daily Advertiser tonight.

The basic reason why he was not admitted was due to the relevance of the charge. While it was not an overwhelming charge there, in LA it would have been considered aggravated rape possibly and that could be too much of a black eye to admit into this program. It was no joke.
