Lafayette Parish School Board Members Get a Look at Recently Renovated Schools

The Lafayette Parish School System took school board members on a tour to see renovations and improvements made to schools. It was the first day back for Northside High Principal Melinda Voorhies. She and faculty are getting the school ready for students on their first day back Friday.

"I think it's going to be huge in terms of climate and helping with enthusiasm with getting school started. I think it's going to change the atmosphere completely," said Voorhies.
