Armed Robbery in Broussard
The Broussard Police Department needs your help tracking down an armed robbery suspect.
It happened just after 2:00 this morning at the Shop Rite on US 90. The suspect pointed a semi-automatic gun at the clerk and left with an undisclosed amount of cash. He is described as a black male in his 20's weighing between 140-160 LBS, and is about 5'8".
A search for the suspect in the surrounding neighborhood came up empty handed. Police say the suspect may have had a vehicle parked near the area to flee.
