Cajuns won't pack the stands, but neither will Owls - however they may show up later in the evening... owls are nocturnal. But... it takes 300 owls to out hoot a Cajun... everyone knows that. Plus, everyone knows that a Cajun will cook anything that has feathers and flies. Owls are considered wise and cautious, and are not used to being hunted and cooked. I think they scared.

I don't expect a letdown following Houston. If anything, it has instilled confidence. I say we attack with much the same that we did the past 3 games, make very few mistakes, and don't give up the big play on defense.

I believe one facet of the Cajuns that is going to show up big in the Sunbelt this year is Special Teams, and for us, the Sunbelt starts tonight!

Its been a few years in coming, but yeah....Time for Ricky and the boys to turn the corner. Win some you shouldnt, but definitely win all the ones you should.

Our guys should be at the point where its all business. Shame on us if we're not ready.

LOL!! OK, its another corner. This one is at the intersection of "low mid major" and "N.O. Bowl" streets.

We'll have to finish with 10 wins before "fair weather" fans like myself ease up.

You apparently don't get a lot of things.

There are many milestones a team, or any entity with goals to succeed, must take to get to their ultimate goal.

With respect to this team, one goal would be to beat the teams we are supposed to and compete against tougher teams. This year, we have done that convincingly against NCa&t and EMU, and beat UH. If we continue to do so the rest of the season and win the NO bowl, then that means we have taken another step (or turned a corner) in the right direction.

It all has to do with this program and its fans finally being successful, but, not being satisfied with the success. Just winning against EMU wasn't this year's only goal, neither was beating Houston. But we should never feel like we have accomplished enough and stop expecting more, especially if we want this program to continue to grow swiftly. We _____ about it, but those losers in BR are never satisfied with anything, and while they are a little/lot overboard with it, there is certainly nothing wrong with expecting the best from your teams at all times, because the team expects it from themselves. Which for this team, getting to a point where you expect to win everytime you go out there, that is another corner that has been turned.

Because I'm bored and being unproductive at work (slow day), I pose the following questions.

1.)What do you think about the FAU game? Realistically, what are our chances for a W? What will need to happen for us to get a W? What should we expect to see from FAU?

2.)Also, what is FAU saying about us (fans/players/etc...)? I have no access to FAU boards, etc.. and I was just curious.

Here's to a great game for the Cajuns on ESPN2. I will be obliging my LSU friend to let me come over and watch the game at his place (cuz I have no cable).

I THINK we have a 90% chance of a win. The 10% could come in the form of Babb injured, and unforced turnovers.

FAU has fans? I think that FAU including their fan base will be distracted by all the noise between FIU & Miami, but you can bet that HS will be ready and try to keep his players focused.

Funny thing about a win, it reinforces that you can do something, and that is my only concern about the players of FAU.

Thw "corner" was actually in week 1 [ and again in week 2] we missed those two BAD...

But in college football... it isn't how you start it's how you finish...

Getting to the NO Bowl would be an "official" corner... FAU is just Game 1 of the Sunbelt season...

well sir red brouss i tried.. he called back about 20 minutes ago.. i did share with him something i used to do in tv games ... told him to do it when he knew the camera was on because i was going to tell all that were watching at Legends that would be his way of telling us "hello" and that he was thinking of us..
