I just hope that our boys and coach are on their toes and don't overlook this team. They could potentially be very dangerous, especially since they'r eon a 2 game winning streak and opened up the season with some tough opponents. As a matter of fact, I won't even be completely comfortable with a bazillion point lead, at least not until the clock is down to zero. That being said, I think our boys are up to the challenge and will do very well. Here's to a good showing on National TV.

    God Bless

This has been a popular topic and I have commented on it several times. I seem to have arrived a one final thought. We have never dominated this conference and our games have always been close. That may be changing, but I don't think the guys that have been down on the field losing games by a field goal over the last couple of years are thinking they can sleepwalk through their conference schedule. I think they also know that road games stack the odds and are difficult no matter the opponent.

I can't wait for this game. How do we respond on the road after a big road win the week before? I look forward to the answer tomorrow.

Default What do YOU say. What do THEY say?

Because I'm bored and being unproductive at work (slow day), I pose the following questions.

1.)What do you think about the FAU game? Realistically, what are our chances for a W? What will need to happen for us to get a W? What should we expect to see from FAU?

2.)Also, what is FAU saying about us (fans/players/etc...)? I have no access to FAU boards, etc.. and I was just curious.

Here's to a great game for the Cajuns on ESPN2. I will be obliging my LSU friend to let me come over and watch the game at his place (cuz I have no cable).

    Peace and God Bless

One thing for sure, most of our starters will remember the game from last year. I doubt they will take this team lightly. I am certain coach has pleanty of film showing each and every player from last years game how many errors they made individually and as a team.

    1) For us to win we have to play the same way we have played the last three weeks. If we do that it's in the bag.

    2) They are scared for their lives

UL Football From FAU board - WANTED: Receivers for Wednesday's Game!!!

Anyone feel like suiting up and helping the Owls out this week?

FAU receiver Simeon questionable for Louisiana
    By Marcus Nelson

    Palm Beach Post Staff Writer

    Monday, October 16, 2006

BOCA RATON — Florida Atlantic's receiving corps is in pain.

Frantz Simeon, FAU's biggest receiving threat, separated his shoulder in Thursday's victory against Southern Utah.

Simeon was listed as questionable by the school for Wednesday's game against Louisiana.

Also, senior receiver Casey McGahee has a sprained ankle.

McGahee and Simeon, the two most experienced receivers on the team, join freshman Cortez Gent, who missed Thursday's game with an ankle injury and is questionable Wednesday, and Chris Bonner, who is sick and hasn't practiced in two days.

"None of this is good," coach Howard Schnellenberger said.

No decision has been made to who will start Wednesday, but freshman receiver Avery Holley, who scored his second touchdown of the season against Southern Utah, took many snaps with the first-team offense in practice Sunday alongside junior Chad Wilkes, who has started three games of the season.

i agree with the Vegas line that has the Cajuns as an 11 point favorite on the road, and a double digit favorite's odds on the road are pretty darn good. The Cajun Defense will have to continue to limit yards after the catch as they have done for thge last 3 games... and the offense needs to be able to run the ball and use up the clock. FAUill be a well-coached team... a team certainly capable of beating the Cajuns... similar to the Cajuns in Houston last week.

From what I read in Blogs in The Sun Sentinel.... FAU is looking at this game as a test... and they are confident after defeating us at our house last.

In my opinion, the fact that FAU won that game, makes me feel extra certain that the Cajuns will take care of business Wednesday night....

Anything is possible, as the game is played! I, like many want the Cajuns to WIN and continue as they have played the last 3 games and even improve, and that is what it will take for the Cajuns to win.

Houston, was confident, they were at home and they had beat us last, lets hope our players are not over confident like some of our Fans.

I know we are all having fun with this new success, but I want the team focused and bringing home a W!!!!!

Yeah, you don't think Schnellenberger is sandbagging, do you? Although a separated shoulder is pretty tough, I have heard of guys with "slight" separations playing. Same with twisted ankles.
