Especially when you consider their own name identity issues and their struggles in getting people to use the name reference they prefer.

I honestly could care less about the name reference. I'd rather go out and win the conference this year and a bowl game. I think we'd have a lot more of a platform to address our name issues once we start to demand the respect on the field.

Turbine, there are many people that could care less about what we are called. Most of these people are fans of other schools within our conference and a good number are fans within our own state as we all know. The constant battles we fight with the name references will never end unless we start a tradition of winning on the field. From that point, we will have a much better platform to control what we are called.

I understand "start a tradition" better than "once we start to demand the respect" because last year UL started "to demand the respect on the field."
