Dead Man Found Lying In Acadia Parish Roadway

Deputies in Acadia Parish are investigating the discovery of a dead man, found wrapped in a tarp in middle of White Oak highway near Richard this morning.

A passing driver called 911 after making the discovery just before 5:00 a.m.

The identity of the man is not known. He's described as a Hispanic male, 25-30 years old. His body has been taken to the Calcasieu Parish coroners office to determine a cause of death.
