Default 1964 game tickets to Colt 45 vs Dodgers

I was going through some old pictures in a shoe box and came across two ticket stubs of the LSU vs. Rice and the Houston colt 45 vs. Los Angeles Dogers. I took my Dad to both games. He was a big Colt's fan. Ticket for the football game was $3 each and the baseball game was aroung the same. This was back on Sept. 26 and 27, 1964. I was 28 years old at the time. My Dad passed away never seeing his beloved Colt's again. This was also the last game the Colt's played in the Colt's stadium. They moved in the Astro Dome the next year. They built the Colts stadium as a stepping stone for the Colts for 1962-1964 season. It was sold to some Mexican team for something around $100K. It was built for $2M. And the Colt's won by the score of 1-0. Can't remember the LSU Rice score.....The stubs are in real good shape.

some hall of famers on that roster for sure. some guys playing out the string, too. but then, there's joe morgan who played on the big red machine in cincinnati (2 consecutive world series champs.) also, jerry grote was the catcher for the mets when they won the '69 world series. nice find, there.
