To me, the difference between fans may be heart, but there was a time on this board last season before the turnaround when the grumblings had begun over Bustle on this board, and a few cries went up on the Delphi board after the first two games this season. And let's face it, LSU fans are not an anomaly in the BCS fan mindset. Cue the footage of Larry Coker and the banners that flew over the stadium calling for his head during a game that were paid for by the president of their Hurricane Club! I find that behavior far more despicable and ruinous for a team than some LSU fans _____ing about their coach on message boards after an ugly loss. I just want to focus on our Cajuns, and the joy they must have felt last night seeing all those Cajun diehards in the stands.

I'm just waking up after a long night...but a great night!!! Last night the Cajuns made us all proud they showed more heart than I have seen them show since Bustle arrived and they beat a team that we were told we couldn't beat. I am not going to complain about the refs but in the first half they were trying to give Houston the game. I couldn't see a # who made the catch I believe in the late first half, early second half where he had to lay out? Oh and the catch by Kevin Belton to take the lead was a great catch, he had great pass coverage against him and he was still able to fight for the ball and make the catch. I was on cloud 9 last night and I was calling everyone in my phone to tell them how happy I was. Everyone who made the trip errupted after that TD and they still might be cheering. Great win now its time to beat down FAU on national TV. GEAUX CAJUNS!!!

Great Game! Cajuns battled back from 21-0. That is the epitome of heart.

The biggest thing I noticed was the beer sales. I walked in with $180. I left with just under $100. I bought no food. If we were able to sell beer, especially with no other major financial income (i.e. student fees), what could we do?! It could be the quickest, easiest increase in income that we could find.

These losers ran out of beer at some stands near the UL section. That would be a good problem at several areas at home games. I am still very drunk so excuse my typos or incoherenceness.

Besides the obvious, one of the most impressive things, IMHO, is the way this team is playing in light of the injury status the team. We've been the walking wounded, yet this group of young men just continues to step up. Hopefully, the extended break this week will continue improve the injury picture.

They now will spend this week mulling one of the biggest — if not the biggest — chokes in school history. That might seem harsh, but it certainly is defensible after UH blew a three-touchdown lead en route to a stunning 31-28 loss to Louisiana-Lafayette on Saturday night before 17,543 at Robertson Stadium. Rather than the victory bell, which delivers one clang for every point the Cougars score in a home win, there were only alarm bells sounding after this improbable turn of events. Indeed, the Ragin' Cajuns not only took the game but also robbed the UH players of their swagger and momentum as they prepare for next Saturday's C-USA game at Southern Mississippi. "I don't know what I can say," Cougars coach Art Briles said. "(It was) demoralizing, gut-wrenching." One week after fighting to a tough one-point loss at Miami, UH came home and somehow found a way to blow a 21-0 second-quarter lead. Louisiana-Lafayette scored the final 18 points, including the game-winning touchdown on a 4-yard pass from Jerry Babb to Kevin Belton with 1:02 remaining. Babb then passed to Derrick Smith for the two-point conversion that put the Ragin' Cajuns up by three points and the Cougars in panic mode. Seriously folks, I've made up my mind to never make another prediction on a UH football game. This will be the third week in a row that I'll be heaping my plate high with steaming crow. Then again, I don't think I'll be the only one eating crow this time. I'm certain no one, other than a few overzealous Louisiana-Lafayette fans, predicted that the Cougars would be embarassed in a 31-28 loss to the Ragin' Cajuns before the 17,543 in attendance at Robertson Stadium on Saturday night. Because Houston was still smarting from its close 14-13 loss to Miami last weekend, I figured the Cougars would be prepared to take out their frustrations on this mediocre opponent. I figured wrong. HOUSTON (AP) -Jerry Babb's 4-yard touchdown pass to tight end Kevin Belton with 1:02 remaining lifted Louisiana-Lafayette to a 31-28 victory against Houston on Saturday night. The Cajuns (3-2), who fell behind 21-0 early in the second quarter, went 85 yards on 18 plays in a drive that consumed 6:46, and Babb capped the deciding score with a two-point conversion pass to receiver Derrick Smith. The Cougars (4-2) dropped their second in a row despite 367 passing yards from Kevin Kolb. Lafayette controlled the second half with an effective rushing attack. Tyrell Fenroy had 88 of his 110 after halftime as the Cajuns outgained Houston 269-38 on the ground. Fenroy's 18-yard touchdown early in the fourth quarter cut Lafayette's deficit to 28-23. We went into the game feeling like we needed to open up a little bit and wanted to establish the run and you can't bail from it. We went into to halftime and decided that we needed to throw the football more and it open up some running lanes for us. I just wanted to stop the bleeding in the 1st (quarter). As we got in the second we scored and after the fake punt we had another opportunity and we were back in." On the stop before halftime "At halftime I think that was a big stop we had right there.
