I would love to hear it too. I think someone said Jay was screaming his head off. I wouldn't have heard it as there were 3 to 4k cajuns fans around me screaming along. I can no longer talk myself. I have to text message my wife for almost everything.

From a national "shock value" standpoint, the Texas a&m game was amazing, but from a "here and now" standpoint, and the potential that this win brings with it, the Houston game is the most important, if not greatest win. Everyone is seeming to forget the decade of missery after the Tex. a&m win. Obviously, if we fall on our face the rest of this season, then the Houston game means nothing, but if we roll from here on out, the Houston game will always be remembered as the turning point in the direction and future of the program.
Instead of comparing the games, you are comparing the decade that followed one game against the the decade that follows the second game that hasn't happened yet and reaching a conclusion based on potential and expectations. That's hard to subscribe to.

I am so glad that I went and I thought going in that we had about a 40% chance of getting the win. As a confidence builder and a stepping stone for our future this is huge. The only thing we need to do is to be ready to quickly replace Bustle when more money comes a KNOCKING. With how he brought our team out of the grave and to the top of this conference in 5 years is nothing short of fantastic. I am not one that wants us to jump conference, because I beleave that you dance with the girl that goes to the dance with you. Only if the other schools are not stepping up and improving should we walk away. I would love to have LaTech in our conference. Their football & girls basketball have a nice long and successful history. If we can step up another notch in the near future in football and boys basketball becomes what I think Lee can make it we'll be real interesting to someone. We know we bring it in baseball and softball. See you in the future!!!

I went to both games and they were both great in their own right. A&M had not made its own downturn just yet, and had beaten LSU in season opening games in those years. That A&M game was huge for us, and the goal post destruction made national sports news.

This Houston game is great since it comes on the cusp of getting this program's return notched up another level. I would still like to see where this Houston team goes this season. I would like for them to prove themselves worthy of the initial 4-0 and 1pt Miami loss. How Houston does from here on puts this game, as far as critics go, in a certain perspective. However, it is huge for this program right now. And as far as I am concerned, right now is what I deal with.

I also believe this Houston game is more significant in one respect. It will have a larger impact on our recruiting than that A&M game did. Our potential recruits in the east Texas and Houston area have to consider this, if we keep it going. We are up against CUSA in many recruiting battles, and last season, a good finish to this season, and this win cannot do anything but help recruiting... and winning... and attendance... and revenues... and not necessarily in that order. Those relationships are a nested web of dependent structures.

    Keep Geauxing Cajuns!!!!!!

Bustle has been good about getting us back up for the next week after a big game (Note last year after we beat MT). Not to mention, I have a feeling that there is a bit of a revenge factor after last years loss at cajun field that ruined our bowl chances...Revenge will be sweet and on national TV. We win by 21 pts minimum.

I agree, a win by 21 or more. I will be screaming at the big screens at Marleys for the entire game
