And I agree with you. After the tamu victory our program took a downward spiral. This was very unfortunate because once that happened, the win over tamu was viewed more as a fluke win or that tamu just fell apart. In this game UL came out the second half and just flat out wanted the win more than Houston. Especially when you consider that had the game ended with UL down by 5 the loss would have been blamed on the officials for that ridiculous fumble challenge. Despite that crazy and bogus call, UL still battled their way back to a win. That says alot about a team, their desire and will to win, and their coaching staff. Houston, had they ran the table, would have been a top 25 team. When you beat a midmajor team that's well on their way to having BCS talent on their roster, it says much much more about your team than one win over TAMU. It shows that your program is on the rise, your team has more confidence, and if we do well in the sbc this year, it will show that the program is starting to pull away from the rest of the competition in the SBC.
