Charlie, your crappy team hasn't done a thing in this league either.

We don't owe the league anything but this sort of loss hurts it. It derails anything we thought we could do (and it keeps me from wasting a lot of money on a lot of roadies).

The ULL people were all class and all a blast. I wish we played them in every sport every year because they're the kind of people we want coming to Houston (and we love going to Lafayette). I hope they realize their first bowl game this year.

Sweet! I also wished we'd play UH more regularly. Being in the same conference would be nice! We've had some good games with them in football, basketball, baseball, etc. It's a good travel game for fans of both schools. I'd expect the two schools to keep playing often, although probably not every year in FB.

Hey, Z! Was this a great game or what? I'm still buzzin' a couple of hours after the game! I was just sitting at my computer listening to the game on the internet and reading posts here. And I was pumped! Too bad I couldn't have made it to the game! My son went to Houston and to the stadium but didn't get in! He stayed outside the stadium and tailgated. Kids these days .....!

I hope to see a good turnout for the rest of our games this year and I hope we get a lot of visitors from the opposing team.

This is Redbug reporting from Houston. It was the most awsome game that I've been too since A&M in 96. It looked like we were going to get railroaded early on, & I still can't explain what happened. We chipped away and then just shoved it down their throats on offense in the 4th quarter. We had a huge number of fans & no one has any voice left. We were stomping the aluminum seats on the last drive. When the team went out of the stadium there were people lining the asileways like Johnston Street at Mardi Gras, screaming our heads off as they came through. The police were tyring to make everyone leave, but no one would listen to them. Everyone was soooooooo pumped!!!
