Southall's grades are a joke.. i had a class with the guy.. i also know that the coach had a little talk with the professor and Southall got an A in the class, even though he missed the second half of the semester... His excuse was great.. 3 weeks in a row his gf was in labor.. hah.. he actually said that...
with players like southall and this other guy coming in its no wonder that the team plays with such terrible discipline..
Excuse me bat guano,do you have any evidence that this has indeed taken place? Please post what you have for all of us to see,are stop posting accusations.Originally Posted by locoguano
First, we have never had discipline. Second, every player in america get grades and help from professors. And you know what it is sad to say but the guy came here to play basketball not become an engineer. And the great players that have discipline go to big time schools. We have to make do with what we can get. Orien Greene left florida, for discipline reasons nobody complained about him. How do you think we got southall in the first place. He was supposed to play at KENTUCKY! then he got in trouble and still landed a major scholorship at georgia tech. Regardless of his behavior southall came out as a big time ball player. Before he left he was on tap to break the shot block record. Coach Lee is the first sign of discipline we have seen in along time. He is trying but its hard at the level we are at. This is why we need to give these guys second chances to help us get over the hump and we won't have to recruit guys like that.Originally Posted by locoguano
Sounds like a poor excuse for a school who wishes to be second rate.Originally Posted by crazycajun
