"Both of them had personal issues they had to address," Lee said. "It's things they had to deal with. We hope that they can be back with us next season."
Ford, a product of Baton Rouge-Scotlandville who spent two seasons at Dixie State Junior College, played in 28 games last year and averaged 17.0 minutes per game.

would you be referring to the new "member" of the Ragin Jazz?Originally Posted by AstroCajun
Even though I enjoyed the game, I just wasn't in basketball mode yet. We have a huge Sun Belt race in football right now. I think that's why most of Blackham wasn't as loud as it could have been. About the dude dancer. As a normal guy, I watched the hot chicks.
I guess the "flaming pepper" idea has no bounds. Sorry. Couldn't pass that one up.Originally Posted by RaginCajun77
I think Cameron could have played a little better last night but after speaking with him at the end of the game i think he was more focused on trying to get his perimeter defense better. He said he has been working on trying to move his feet and stay in fron of his man which is something he is going to have to do. I think for the most part i saw a huge improvement for him as he only got beat maybe twice and Mike was there on help side anyway. I think if he can play defense on smaller faster guys and knock down some shots we might have 3 NBA players from this years squad. Did anyone else notice this?Originally Posted by CajunTBone
I don't quite understand about the beer restriction. I understand that the State owns the Cajundome, not the school, so that is why they can sell beer in the Dome. And I've heard that the reason they can't sell in Blackham is because the school owns it. But what about at baseball games? Doesn't the school own 'The Tigue'? They can sell beer there... Someone please clarify...Originally Posted by crazycajun
Funny, I get blasted for saying I don't like Michael Southall being back on the team on this board, while you get almost complimented for your observation of the dance team.Originally Posted by AstroCajun
People who are on the dance team and who have relatives on the dance team (like myself) do read this board. These young girls and young man represent this university. They need your support too.

I'll say it like this, I really miss the Cajun Chicken. I've always enjoyed his antics to a dance number.
By the way, I was very impressed at how good the band sounded in Blackham.
I thought Chris still struggled on his perimeter defense. I know it was frustrating for him to get called for three moving picks. A couple of those were questionable.Originally Posted by paulpaul2
I sat next to his Mom last night on the plane from Houston ( I was on my way back from Boston). He says he loves what he is doing and as long as he is happy, she is happy.Originally Posted by Turbine

I think the crowds have been kind to both the new twist on an old tradition and the return of Michael Southall
